WASHINGTON, D.C. (June 7, 2012) –Events DC and Marriott International recently announced that Marriott will once again serve as the “Official Lodging Partner” for the AT&T Nation’s Football Classic™, resuming a successful partnership that will offer Classic attendees discounted hotel room rates for an impressive portfolio of properties around the city, and provide an official headquarters hotel for signature Classic events during the 2012 Labor Day weekend.
The JW Marriott Washington, DC is the headquarters hotel and will serve as the hub for AT&T Nation’s Football Classic™ activity during the weekend. Other participating properties include Washington Marriott at Metro Center (team hotel), Courtyard US Capitol, Courtyard Embassy Row, The Mayflower Renaissance and The Ritz-Carlton, Washington, D.C.

The Classic takes place during Labor Day weekend between the Howard University Bison and the Morehouse College Maroon Tigers on Saturday, September 1 at RFK Stadium with a kickoff time of 3:30 p.m. ET. Tickets are priced $25 to $50 (plus all applicable fees), and on sale at ticketmaster.com, Ticketmaster outlets, the Howard University Box Office located at Cramton Auditorium and the Morehouse College Bookstore. Through June 30, $25 tickets are available for $15 with the use of the promotion code “hbison” (while tickets last).
