WASHINGTON – Howard University hosted more than 12,000 members of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., during the Centennial Founders Day Celebration, Jan. 11-13. Visitors participated in a formal welcoming ceremony hosted by Howard University President Sidney A. Ribeau and National President Cynthia M.A. Butler-McIntyre.
The Deltas for Howard presented two $25,000 checks to the University for the Bridging the Gap Student Aid Campaign and the Andrew Rankin Memorial Chapel restoration fund.
The Howard Day also included special events in the historic Rankin Chapel and Howard Hall as well as exhibits and entertainment in the Blackburn Center. See schedule of the day’s activities.
