Howard University to Sponsor Million Women March for Endometriosis

Washington, D.C. (March 4, 2014) – The Howard University Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology will serve as a local sponsor of the 2014 Million Women March for Endometriosis.  The EndoMarch will take place on March 13 from noon to 3:00 p.m. on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.  The event will also take place worldwide, in more than 56 cities.

Endometriosis is a disease that can cause severe pain, infertility and internal damage, and it often goes undiagnosed.  The event will help raise awareness of and public education about the disease, which affects one in ten women worldwide.  Help end the silence and raise awareness about endometriosis by joining the Howard University team at the inaugural EndoMarch.
