Harvard, Howard University Debate Teams to Battle in DC


Washington (April 11, 2014) - The Howard University Debate Team will take on rivals from Harvard University in a debate about the legalization of marijuana on Wednesday, Apr. 23 at 1 p.m. in Cramton Auditorium. The match up marks the second time a Harvard team has traveled to the Howard campus for a debate. The event is free and open to public.

"Howard is excited to host this historic event on its campus," said Angela D. Minor, Esq., director of Howard University's MLK Jr. Forensics Program. "Audience members can expect to see an entertaining and educational debate."

The Howard team includes seniors Abraham Williams, Radiah Shabazz, Jennifer Brook and Tashiana Hudson.
