School of Business Launches A.T. Kearney Consulting Program

WASHINGTON (May 20, 2014) – The Department of Information Systems and Supply Chain Management Department in the Howard University’s School of Business recently launched the A.T. Kearney Student Lab Corporate Consulting Program for M.B.A. students.

The A.T. Kearney Lab provides an opportunity for students to apply knowledge gained from the classroom to real-world executive settings. M.B.A. students worked in teams to complete live, interdisciplinary projects requiring the efficient and strategic usage of information systems and technologies. The program has proven itself wildly successful at other leading universities, including the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the University of Chicago and UCLA.

“Not only did students gain a great deal of experience and knowledge through this process, but the corporate clients gained insight and solutions and were able to build relationships with top talent from Howard University,” said James Haddow, director of the Center for Excellence in Supply Chain Management at Howard University.

In addition to the résumé and character-building projects, M.B.A. students were able to engage with great companies and enthusiastic executives, including experienced A.T. Kearney consultants.

For more information about the program, please contact James Haddow at 202-806-1604 or via email at james.haddow@howard.edu.
