The
Howard University Bisonettes Dance Team
wins 2003, 2004 & 2005
National Black College Dance Team Championship!
History:
The national championship competitions for co-ed cheer and all-girl
cheer began in 1996. In 1997, the category of collegiate dance team
competition began with Clarke Atlanta University Panthers Dance
Team winning first places. Tennessee State University Tigers held
the title for five years: 1998 – 2002. Breaking their winning
streak, Howard University Bisonette’s joined the competition
in 2003 and walked away with the National Collegiate Dance Team
Championship
On February 21, 2004, Howard University
Bisonette’s once again delivered an impeccable performance
and landed the national title for the second year in a row! The
2005 winning was a remarkable step for the Bisonette’s, due
to the pressure of being three time champions, but yet again they
conquered what was rightfully there’s. The Howard University
Dance Team presented the latest hip- hop and jazz routines with
enthusiasm, poise, confidence and style |
