Instructions to Complete
the Online Parking Registration
These instructions will guide you through completing the Online
Parking Registration. We recommend that you print this instruction
page to have available as you complete the application. Should
you have any questions, please contact the Office of Parking
and Shuttle Operations.
Please
read the instructions carefully before proceeding:
- Log into the BisonWeb by visiting www.howard.edu/bisonweb and clicking on the Login
to Secure Area icon.
You should see the following login screen:
- Enter your User
ID. This number is the first three letters
of your last name and the last five digits of your Social Security
Number.
- Enter your PIN (Personal
Identification Number). The default PIN is your date of birth.
This number is entered with double
digits. Example: If your DOB is March 8, 1965, you will enter
the numbers 030865 within the PIN login box. Then click login.
- The BisonWeb
should then welcome you into the Information System. Click
on the Parking icon to proceed.
- You will
see the parking menu below. The parking menu will guide you
through the parking registration.

Step 1: Parking Registration
Register personal data
Step 2: Parking Vehicle Registration
Register your vehicles for parking. You must first register personal
data prior to registering your vehicle(s).
Step 3: View Parking
Lot Assignment
- Click on Step 1: Parking Registration. This is the section
that you will enter your personal data. Please use your off-campus
local mailing address. After you have completed this section
and read the Terms and Conditions, click AGREE AND SUBMIT to proceed.
- Step 1B will allow you to verify information submitted. Click
CONFIRM to proceed.
- Print the Personal Data Confirmation page for your records.
- Click on the Vehicle
Registration Link to proceed to Step
2.
- Enter your parking Vehicle Registration Information as it
is shown on your vehicle registration card. Click SUBMIT to
proceed.
- Complete the Parking Vehicle Registration form for any secondary
vehicles you want to register. Please note that proof of registration
and insurance is required and must be presented to obtain a
parking permit. When finished registering all vehicles, click
SUBMIT to proceed.
- Verify parking vehicle registration information. Print the
Vehicle Registration Confirmation page for your records. Click
CONFIRM to proceed to Step 3.
- Step 3 Parking Lot Assignment is to choose payroll deduction
options. A charge will be assessed according to the parking
space assigned you by your parking coordinator. If Faculty,
indicate type by clicking on (Choose One) option. If Non-Faculty,
Click SELECT .
- Click the (Choose One) option button to choose the number
of Biweekly Deductions that is best for you.
- Click the (Choose One) option button to select the type of
tax that is best for you. Click SELECT to proceed.
- Read and confirm the payroll deduction summary page to complete
the Parking Registration process. Print a copy of this page
for your records.
Once you
are finished reading these instructions you may proceed to
the Faculty/Staff
On-line Parking Registration.
