Charter Day Celebration and Honorees

Dear Members of the University Community:

On behalf of the Howard University Board of Trustees, I cordially extend to you an opportunity to serve the University that for one hundred and forty-four years has meant so much to thousands of students, corporate friends and supporters, our nation as a whole, and indeed the world.

As you perhaps know, the Charter Day Dinner is one of the most important events on the University's annual calendar. It honors alumni who have achieved distinction in their professions and is the flagship event for rallying alumni and friends to provide philanthropic support for the University. The Dinner will be held on March 12, 2011, at the Hilton Washington and Towers Hotel in Washington, D.C., and your anticipated involvement is considered critical to its ultimate success.
