About Research At Howard University
The components that support research administration are committed to an ongoing effort aimed at improving research and compliance at Howard while setting an agenda for cutting-edge research that is both national and international in scope.
Research administration is conducted through a shared service model including five components. The objective of these components is to facilitate an expanded research capability at Howard University and provide researchers with more efficient and accountable strategic and administrative support.
To achieve these goals, these components support the development of a coordinated planning strategy that involves all levels of the University and that addresses the major research needs of the University, its faculty, and students.
