3rd Annual Biomedical Informatics Symposium
You are cordially invited to attend the 3rd Annual Biomedical Informatics Symposium hosted by the Innovation Center for Biomedical Informatics (ICBI) at Georgetown University on October 2, 2014.
This free symposium will showcase several exciting advances in the area of big data in biomedicine and associated state-of-the-art technologies. The main conference themes will encompass precision medicine, cloud computing, data visualization, and cancer immunotherapies, with plenary sessions chaired by well-recognized experts in their fields. This one-day event will include a variety of talks by academic, industry, and government leaders working in the clinical and translational sciences who will highlight the applications of informatics science and tools that can help to advance precision medicine. The symposium promises to bring together a dynamic community of innovators, research scientists, clinicians, program managers, educators, and students to exchange ideas, and learn new methodologies. There are also many opportunities for networking and socializing with colleagues during the evening reception/poster session.
