2014 Holiday Schedule

The University has implemented a Winter Break Full Campus Closure from Monday, Dec. 22, 2014 through Friday, Jan. 2, 2015. Both Research Administrative Services (RAS) and the Office of Research Development (ORD) will be closed during that time.

As a reminder, the University has implemented a Winter Break Full Campus Closure from Monday, Dec. 22, 2014 through Friday, Jan. 2, 2015. Both Research Administrative Services (RAS) and the Office of Research Development (ORD) will be closed during that time.

 

Services provided by RAS and ORD (including proposal development, proposal submissions, award processing, indirect cost recovery processing, etc.) will not be provided after close of business on Friday, December 19, 2014. If you should have any grant related issues that need to be resolved prior to the break or a proposal due over the break, please contact ORD or RAS no later than 12:00 Noon on Friday, December 19, 2014.

 

During the break, there will be limited access to emails. If a matter requires urgent attention, please utilize the following contact information:

All research-related services will resume when the office reopens at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, January 5, 2015. However, due to the full campus closure, RAS is allowing exceptions to the five-business day deadline policy without additional approval requirements for the week of January 5, 2015.

 

Exception to 5 Business Days Proposal Procedures for Week of January 5, 2015
  1. Proposals due to sponsor on January 5 or January 6 - RAS will accept same day submissions of proposals in final form including all internal (Department Chair, Dean, etc.) approvals.
  2. Proposals due to sponsor on January 7, 2015- January 9, 2015 - RAS must receive proposals in final form, including all internal (Department Chair, Dean, etc.) approvals, by COB January 6, 2015.
