Dr. Bernadette M. Hence - currently serves as Senior Program Manager at the U.S. Department of Education. Previously she served as Senior Policy Advisor for the White House Initiative on American Indian and Alaska Native Education and Policy Advisor for the White Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities and engaged business, government, military, homeland-security, scientific, cultural, and education communities to build partnerships initiatives.

 

Dr. Marilyn M. Irving - currently serves as the Associate Dean for Research and Sponsored Programs in the Howard University School of Education. For the past 20 years, Dr. Irving has served as principal investigator, co-principal investigator and faculty of record on funded projects at the local and national levels. She has facilitated workshops and developed materials for secondary science and mathematics teachers and community groups across the nation.

  • Following guidelines to create successful applications
  • Developing an appropriate evaluation plan
