Inaugural activities will culminate during the weekly chapel service at 11 a.m. Sunday worship services are ecumenical and all are welcome to attend. The scheduled Chapel speaker for this Sunday is The Reverend Dr. Cynthia L. Hale, senior pastor of the Ray of Hope Christian Church in Decatur, Georgia. An active spiritual foundation has been a part of University life since its founding. The Andrew Rankin Memorial Chapel was constructed in 1896 and has served as the center of religious life and activities since that time. Campus ministries from various faiths, traditions and denominations are represented.
