HOMECOMING

OFFICE OF THE STUDENT COUNCIL
Alumni Relations Department

September 9, 2006

Dear Treasured Alumnus:

M y name is Debbie Origho and I serve as the Director of Alumni Relations for the John H. Johnson School of Communications Student Council.   We are reaching out to our alumni to return to campus for an alumni reunion weekend during Homecoming 2006.  Although you are no longer a student, we want to show our support and gratitude for the path that you have set for us to follow and to celebrate the strides you have made in your career, your life, and your community.

I invite you to join the John H. Johnson School of Communications Student Council in conjunction with the Office of the Dean for the JHJSOC Alumni Weekend: "Relive the Memories...Capture new Moments!" Alumni from the classes of 1971-1996 join us for a Communications Summit and Networking Reception on Friday, October 13, 2006.  Then, Homecoming Saturday, October 14, 2006, everyone is invited for a Family Reunion all day on the Yard. Visit the John H. Johnson School of Communications tent where we will have give-a-ways and a pre-game reception. The weekend will conclude on Homecoming Sunday, October 15, 2006 with the JHJSOC All Class Alumni Brunch in the Armour J. Blackburn Center Ballroom.  We will honor all of our beloved Alumni with a brunch and awards ceremony with Dean, Jannette L. Dates.

As a current student in the School of C, I value the opportunity to interact and engage with alumni from my school, and I, along with my fellow classmates, hope you will join us for this exciting weekend!  If you are able to attend any of our alumni events please complete and return the enclosed forms by October 4, 2006.  If you have any questions, I can be contacted through email at pdcco@hotmail.com. I look forward to hearing from you soon and may you continue to proudly represent the John H. Johnson School of Communications

Sincerely,

Debbi Origho
Director of Alumni Relations
JHJSOC Student Council
