THE CAMPAIGN FOR HOWARD : Leadership for America and the Global Community is not simply about Howard University. It is about the acknowledgement of America as a place where possibility can become reality. Howard, as the Capstone, will continue to do its part to set and advance the agenda for social and economic justice, and civil rights. Strategic Framework for Action II sets forth an ambitious agenda for the University. But it is no more ambitious than the vision in place at the founding of the University, a vision of Howard University as a very special place, unique and irreplaceable, a vision that has demonstrated its vibrancy for more than 135 years.
