Novella S. Ford is the Director of Development for the John H. Johnson School of Communications at Howard University. She is responsible for developing fundraising initiatives to support academic programs and special events within the School. Additionally, Ms Ford works under University Advancement to support the annual fund, alumni giving and capital campaigns.

An alumna of Howard University’s School of Business, Ms. Ford built a track record of success in marketing and corporate communications, at a Fortune 500 company before turning her interests to the public sector. She used her marketing and communication skills to service nonprofit organizations in New York City while earning her Masters in Public Administration from The Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at NYU. She returns to her alma mater to lead the John H. Johnson School of Communications’ fundraising efforts.
