Teaches courses in newspaper journalism, magazine publishing and new media. Her research interests are coverage of African-American issues and readership patterns. A new addition to the faculty, she was previously editor-in-chief of Heart & Soul and BET Weekend magazines. Lamb has also worked at The New York Times, Atlanta Constitution, Toledo Blade, Child and Essence.
