An award winning radio and television producer who serves as Professor and Chair of the Department of Radio, Television, and Film. She is the winner of the George Foster Peabody Award and has received recognition for her production work from the National Education Association, the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, The National Black Media Coalition and others. Her current research is on issues of representation, cultural studies, and the politics of production.
