The District of Columbia Area Writing
Project (DCAWP), a local site of the National Writing Project,
is sponsored by Howard University School of Education and
supported by the District of Columbia Public School System.
We seek to improve the writing of students in all grade levels
in the District of Columbia metropolitan community.
