Dr. Leslie T. Fenwick’s article, “Looking for Leaders in a Time of Change,” appears alongside articles by former President Bill Clinton; noted historian, John Hope Franklin; and prominent educators including Linda Darling-Hammond, and Howard Gardner in the book titled The Last Word: The Best Commentary and Controversy in American Education. The article addresses the changing nature of the principalship and was chosen as one of the best commentary essays in the 25-year history of Education Week.
