Program for Continuing Education

The Program for Continuing Education in the Human Services is designed to meet the practical needs of staff and organizations through the provision of learning opportunities aimed at reducing the gap between knowledge and changing practice demands. A variety of plans and formats are utilized for program offerings which are held in the fall, spring, and summer. Eligible participants receive one (1) continuing education unit for every 10 hours of attendance for work satisfactorily completed.

In addition to programs under the direct auspices of the School, opportunities are welcomed for co-sponsorship and collaboration with other educational institutions, professional organizations, and community groups in the development of learning opportunities. Faculty members are also available for consultation for training programs tailored to meet the needs and resources of particular organizations.
