Gregory A. White, a member since 1997, is Partner and Managing Director, Thomas H. Lee Partners, L.P., Boston, Massachusetts. He was also a Partner at Thomas Weisel Partners, LLC.

He previously served as: Executive Director at the Massachusetts Pension Reserves Investment Management Board; Chief Operating Officer and Managing Director, Valuequest/TA; Vice President/Principal at UNC Ventures; and Second Vice President at Smith, Barney, Harris Upham & Co., Inc.

He earned a Bachelor of Nuclear Engineering, cum laude, from the Georgia Institute of Technology, and an M.B.A. from Harvard University. He is on the board of directors of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

Service to the Howard University Board of Trustees is an association of unmatched proportions. It is a reminder, an honor, and a calling. As a Howard trustee, I have the opportunity to serve one of our nation's greatest universities and one of the most talented student bodies.
