The University By-Laws
provide for nine standing Committees of the Board of Trustees: Academic
Excellence, Audit and Legal, Compensation and Succession, Development, Health Sciences, Executive, External Affairs,
Finance, and Trusteeship. There are also four subcommittees of the Academic Excellence Committee (listed below); an Investment
Subcommittee, and an Ad Hoc
Committee on Real Estate. Each Committee is chaired by a member of the
Board of Trustees, who is selected by the Chairman of the Board.
