About Skins
Skins are technology that allows customizing the Windows
Media Player appearance and features. Skins
combine original artwork, XML (Extensible Markup
Language) and JScript to provide a unique Windows Media
Player experience.
The associated web pages contain contest rules, judging
criteria and a library from which you can download
submitted skins. There are also links to Windows Media
Player skin galleries, tutorials and development
references.
All Howard University students were eligible to
participate in this contest by submitting Windows Media
Player skins that reflect the rich "flava" of the
African-American culture and history.
