Overview
Skins are technology that allows customizing the Windows
Media Player appearance and features. Skins combine
original artwork, XML (Extensible Markup Language) and
JScript to provide a unique Windows Media Player
experience.
All Howard University students are eligible to
participate in this contest by submitting an original
Windows Media Player skin. Student teams with 3 or less
members may enter contest. Each team member receives a
prize. First place is an Xbox with games. A winning skin
will embrace a theme from culture, art or entertainment
in a manner consistently reinforced by its appearance,
features and operation. Competitive skins will
seamlessly integrate stunning artwork with Windows Media
9 Series innovation.
