System Version Level Information
Banner 5 Implementation Schedule
Information Systems and Services (ISAS) will upgrade the Banner Student Information System from Banner 4 to Banner 5 over the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday weekend. The current Banner system will be unavailable to all users during the upgrade. The desktop Banner 5 icon installation will be available for download on Friday, January 17, 2003 at 8:30 a.m. Please notify ISAS with any issues and/or problems at Bannerhelp@isas.howard.edu. Note the Banner 5 implementation schedule below.
Banner 5 Target Dates:
Thursday, January 16, 2003 at 5:00 p.m.
ISAS will Disable Banner 4 and begin loading Banner production files to
Banner 5. Access to Banner will be unavailable to the University
Community.Friday, January 17, 2003
Users can download and install Banner 5 icon on office desktops.
Banner 5 will not be operational until Wednesday, January 22, 2003 7:00
a.m. Access to Banner will be unavailable to the University
Community.Saturday, January 18, 2003
Banner 4 to Banner 5 conversion continued.
Access to Banner will be unavailable to the University Community.Sunday, January 19, 2003
Banner 4 to Banner 5 conversion continued.

Banner 5 system will be available to Howard University offices for acceptance verification period.
Access to Banner will be unavailable to the University Student Community.Wednesday, January 22, 2003 7:00 a.m.
Banner is available to the entire University community for Production
processing.
System Version Level Information
The System column indicates the specific Banner 5 system. The PROD displays the version currently in production. The PPRD displays the version currently in the Pre-Production environment.
