KEEP IT CLEAN is a cooperative, collaborative, proactive venture between ISAS and every individual who uses a computer on the Howard University Network.

The objectives of KEEP IT CLEAN are to:

• Provide frequent information to all students, faculty and staff on important protective measures.
• Encourage all computer users to institute protective measures routinely.
• At no cost to any student, faculty member or staff member...
  • Distribute anti-virus software for all University owned computers and for all computers in residence halls that are attached to the University Network.
  • Distribute other anti-virus and worm removal software.

Special Instructions to Obtain Anti-Virus Software:

Students in one of the residence halls:

If you are a Howard student in one of our residence halls with a computer connected to the university Network, you are entitled to receive a University copy of Symantec Anti-Virus 8.1 software without charge.

At present, you may obtain your copy of this software at the iLab. You will be required to complete a Symantec Anti-Virus Software Request Form.

All others:

The ISAS Help Desk will assist others with University-owned computers to receive the latest version of the Symantec Anti-Virus Software.
