About the MSDN-AA Software

Microsoft Developer Network – Academic Alliance (MSDN-AA) Software is an annual subscription of over 1,700 Microsoft software products, including operating systems and software development tools, that was awarded to Howard University for use at no cost by students, faculty and staff. The software from this Microsoft grant may only be used for instructional and research purposes; it may not be used to support the infrastructure of the University or any department.

How to Request Software

Step 1: Download and print the Adobe Acrobat Reader MSDNAA Request Form & Agreement.
Step 2:

Complete all items in the form.
When specifying the number of the software you would like to request, use one of the following lists:
     a. List of Commonly Requested Software
            - or -
     b. Extended Software Lists (for advanced users).

Step 3: Read the MSDNAA End Users License Agreement (EULA).
Step 4: Sign at bottom of the form.
Step 5: Bring the completed form and a valid Howard Photo ID to the iLab Help Desk.
Step 6: Allow 3 business days to enable the creation of requested software CDs which will be available for pick-up in the iLab. Some extension of this waiting period may be necessary as demand warrants.
