Reading Your E-mail via the Internet (Faculty/Staff)

1. 

Open your web browser, type http://humail.howard.edu/ in the address box, and press ENTER.

 
2. 

A window will pop up asking for your "User Name" and "Password".
Type your user name and your last working password, and then press the "OK" button.

 
3. 

If this is your first time logging into your Howard e-mail account, you will be promted to change your temporary password.
Otherwise, skip to step 3.

On the Internet Service Manager screen, do the following:

Type "ENTERPRISE\" then your USERNAME.
Important: Be sure to type ENTERPRISE, backslash \, (NOT /), and your username.

Example: ENTERPRISE\bsmith

Type your your temporary password in the "Old password" box.
Type your new password in the "New password" box and then type it again in the "Confirm new password" box.
The new password must be at least six (6) characters long. The new password can include any characters you want.

Click "OK" to send all the information to change your password.


Click to Zoom

Click "OK" on the first Security Alert screen.

Click "YES" on the second Security Alert screen.

When you have successfully changed your password, there will be a message stating that the "Password successfully changed" on the Internet Service Manager screen.

Click the web address after "Back to" to continue logging into your e-mail.

You have now sucessfully logged into your Howard University e-mail via the Internet.
