However, in order to dial outside the campus network, you will need
to dial 9 first, followed by the phone number you are
trying to dial. If the phone call is off-campus but
local (metropolitan area: MD/VA), be sure to
include the area code; otherwise simply dial 9 and
the phone number for all calls in DC.
