Center for Infectious Diseases Management & Research

HU CIDMAR (Center for Infectious Disease Management and Research) is a Ryan White Title III Early Intervention Service Program that is dedicated to providing culturally competent, state of the art medical care. Our physicians and staff are trained to handle complex management and treatment of infectious diseases as well as coordinating specialty care services.

CIDMAR patients work personally with physicians and staff to develop strategies structured around personal strengths and challenges that provide comprehensive treatment plans. Mental health, substance abuse, nutrition, dental care and other health issues are integrated in a vision for optimal health

CIDMAR Services
Confidential services
Assistance with obtaining access to primary care appointments, dental care and medication (on an emergency basis)
Referral service for mental health and substance abuse treatment
Education for people with HIV and their families
Case Management to assist with any health care concerns or questions
Referral to specialists, as needed
Diagnostic and laboratory testing related to HIV care
Assistance with accessing financial resources
Provide on-site counseling, testing, and referral services.

Ryan White Title III:
Early Intervention Services Ryan White Title III Early Intervention Services grant is one of five Comprehensive AIDS Resources Emergency (CARE) Act programs established by Congress in 1990. The Ryan White Program was put in place to provide funding to health care providers to improve the quality, availability and organization of healthcare and support service for HIV-infected persons and their families.
